Aunque se apellida “de montaña”, el almendro de este número de Sépalo crece más bien en las tierras bajas, que llegan a los 200 metros de altura. Digamos que es más bien ciudadano de la jungla. Es un árbol simpático, que despertó la
inagotable curiosidad de Anne Señol y motivó a Adián González a regalarnos su consabida destreza como ilustrador. Ambos recrean la vida del árbol y su ave residente, la lapa verde.



Although in Spanish, this tree is known as the “almendro de montaña”, it is actually a lowlands forest dweller and not an almond tree at all! But never mind. This enchanting tree, wonderous in both size and beauty, has inspired yet again our favorite duo: Anne Señol and Adián González.
