The concept of Data is wide and, sometimes, difficult to define accurately. Data could be anything that could be object of study and analysis.
Data could be quantitative or qualitative variables that could be, somehow, measured and studied, in order to generate conclusions or determined results. The type of analysis and desired results depend on the researcher ́s specific needs; that is why the concept of Data is subjective.
